ONGOING PROGRAMS

MADBARN CLUB

Similar to the clubs at school, MadBarn Club is here to give our biggest fans more time to hang out with like minded friends as well as have a part in what makes The Barn a special place.

Members will meet twice a month with one meeting that will give everyone a chance to share their ideas and suggestions about The Barn's programs before a snack and fun activity. The second meeting will be a way for members have fun with their friends and make new ones. Sometimes even doing something that will benefit the community.

MADBARN CREATORS

In 2021 The Barn was approached by a local business that inquired about possibly finding a group of students with a passion in filmmaking to work with them to create a commercial. This conversation inspired the idea of a program where talented students could be paired with local businesses in order to benefit BOTH of them, thus MadBarn Creators came to life.

The Plan

Many businesses have needs for advertising, but don't have the budget to use a large advertising agency. Madison Chamber of Commerce will reach out to their members and connect interested parties with The Barn. Once the needs of the client are established, The program’s Coordinator will reach out to the MadBarn Creators and match interested talented students with the project. A meeting will be arranged between the business, the Creators, and The Barn to integrate a creative vision and a plan of action.

The Barn will give students guidance during the process, assist in the brainstorming of ideas, procure necessary equipment, and help institute a time table. Students will be responsible for doing the majority of the work for their assignments independently, but will have a support system in place for troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and guidance. Access to a mentor will also be provided when needed.

The Benefits

Once the assignment is complete and the business is given the final product and the student can move onto the next project. Students will build onto their portfolio and/or resume, gain experience, and receive a small stipend.
