At The Madison Arts Barn
Identifying and Meeting the changing interests and needs of our community with safe, creative, and enriching programming for youth and their families.
More than a youth-focused nonprofit, The Barn is a place where being imaginative,
expressive, unique, and energetic is welcomed and encouraged. We provide a safe,
supportive, and inclusive environment where young people can explore their interests,
develop new skills, build confidence, and connect with others.
Our programs are open to youth from throughout Connecticut, with the majority of
participants coming from communities along the Connecticut Shoreline. We strive to
make our programs accessible to all families by offering full and partial scholarships to
those who may otherwise be unable to participate.
Programming is offered year-round and evolves based on the interests and needs of
the youth and families we serve. Activities typically include fall and spring musicals and
plays, themed summer camps, arts and STEAM workshops, robotics, Odyssey of the
Mind, social events, and special family programs such as our Ties & Tiaras parent &
child dance. Through this wide variety of opportunities, The Barn gives young people a
place to create, explore, belong, and simply be themselves.

Programs & Events
Workshops, Family Game Nights, Robotics, Odyssey of the Mind, and more!

Musicals, Plays, & Minis
Every spring & fall there is a musical & play production. In the summer the "littles" (3-8 year olds) get their chance to shine.

Dances & Socials
An absolute favorite of students is the annual 6th Grade Dances and the 4th Grade and 5th Grade Socials. These events help students to connect with their peers while making memories and having fun!

Summer Camps
Every summer The Barn presents 7-10 weeks of themed summer camps. Some of the more popular of these weeks are our Musical Theater 2 week camp with a performance at the end, Art Exploration, MadBarn TV, and Murder Mystery,
