7 Weeks of amazing camps for 4th through 12th graders!

The Cost of one week of camp is $315. We offer a $40 Early Bird discount bringing the weekly cost down to $275 for the week until March 31st and after that we offer a $20 discount bringing the weekly cost down to $295 until May 1st.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your registration prior to thirty days from the start of the program you will receive a cash refund minus a $25 administration fee. If you cancel your registration within thirty days of the start of the program, you will receive a credit for any event at The Barn minus a $50 administrative fee. If two weeks prior to the start date of a particular camp the minimum registration has not been met the camp will be cancelled and full refund issued.

Week One:

June 29 – July 3

 Girlfriend’s Getaway

This camp is all about girl time. Each day will have a different theme, different activities, and different creations! They will be sharing and learning beauty tips, exploring new friendships, and create DIY decor!

Get ready for a fun, exciting, and creative week!


Week Two:

July 6th – July 10th

Musical Theater Camp

Broadway comes to The Barn… A fun filled week where each child will be able to express their acting skills and theatre interests in unique and creative ways. Campers will gain insight to what goes on behind the scenes as well as the stage. They will work on building their stage confidence while combining acting, singing and dancing. A performance will be held for friends and family to showcase the new skills they gained at the end of the week.  

This experience will be run by Julie Fitzpatrick. Julie is an experienced actress/writer who grew up in Guilford and only just returned a couple of years ago. Having graduated with her MFA from American Conservatory Theatre, Julie acted in New York City, regionally, and in TV/short film work. She is a Member of the Ensemble Studio Theatre in NYC and helped create numerous new plays.


Week Three:

July 13th – July 17th

Film Animation 2019

Don’t miss out on this VERY POPULAR experience!

Aspiring Graphic Artists, Animators, or Short Film creators will love this camp! Campers will begin with basics of hand drawn animations to produce short stories using traditional techniques and principles developed by Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, the lead animators of Disney. They will continue their studies by exploring how to animate digitally, use stop motion animation, and be able to edit them all by  using Adobe Animate. Cameras and equipment will be available.

Mr. Gallo, a very popular art teacher from Daniel Hand High school is ready to bring your characters and stories to life! 


Week Four: 

July 20th – July 24th. 

Photography 2019 

Campers will explore the beautiful world through a lens. Learning how to use aperture, shutter speed, and iso to take visually compelling shots, and capture breathtaking moments. Cameras and tripods will be available for everyone to use, but having a digital camera, Iphone or Ipad encourages campers to learn how to use their own technology. They will also learn about the editing process and how to adjust their compositions, light, color, and focal point to connect to the viewer.

Mr. Gallo, a very popular art teacher from Daniel Hand High School is eager to teach the essentials of photography! He will guide you through techniques of his own, as well as some of the famous photographers of the world.



Week Five:  

July 27th – July 31st

Actors Studio Summer Camp

Looking for the spotlight or a place to express yourself creatively?

Learn knew skills and gain confidence to act and perform! Although this is a relaxed atmosphere participating students will naturally improve in self confidence, and become more poised in their presentation skills. Most importantly, they will have a fantastic time and make lasting friendship and creative connections with like-minded peers!

Week Six:

August 3rd – August 7th

Creating Television 

Dreaming of a life in front of or behind the camera?

Jessica Spinelli, an experienced producer, is back and spending a week teaching the ins and outs of television production. From brainstorming ideas, writing scripts, creating sets and costumes, to filming, recording sound, and putting it all together as a finished piece, students will enjoy the full TV show experience, ending with the final project being edited into a Variety Show and broadcasted on Local Cable TV Channel and Youtube.   


Week Seven:

August 10th – August 14th

Find Your Zen: a Retreat Camp

Every day students are met with stress and anxiety. This camp nutures the body, mind and soul. We will offer kids a way to help deal with stress and anxiety through Yoga, guided meditation, mindfullness, relaxation and so much more.  Open to students in the 4th grade and up.
